Rental Room information

The Clubhouse at Sunset Golf Course is a stunning venue for parties, receptions, class reunions, and business events. Available year-round, our Banquet Room accommodates up to 120 guests, with additional covered deck seating during the warmer months. We offer catering services and a full bar selection to complement any event. Bar packages are also available—contact us for details and pricing.

  • Pricing, rates, options, and more can be changed at any time for any reason at the discretion of Sunset Golf Course / Sunset Bar & Grill.
  • Sunset Golf Course / Sunset Bar & Grill provides on-site catering by Bob Brant, there will be an additional $350 charge if you would like to bring your own caterer. Click here to see catering menu options.
  • Colored linens are available upon request with a surcharge of $5 per linen.
  • A $200 deposit is required at the time of reservation.

3-Hour Event Space Rental

Our 3-hour banquet room rental is perfect for shorter gatherings, intimate celebrations, or corporate events. Enjoy a beautifully designed space with just the right amount of time to host your event seamlessly.

Our 5-hour banquet room rental gives you plenty of time to celebrate, dine, and enjoy your event without feeling rushed. Perfect for weddings, parties, and special gatherings, this package provides the ideal balance for everything you may need.

Hourly Add-On

Need more time to celebrate? Choose the event package that fits you best—3 hours or 5 hours—then add extra hours as needed to make your event just right! We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Client/Host Responsibilities:

A signed contact and non-refundable deposit of $200.00 are required to reserve your event date. Deposits are applied toward your final invoice, which is due paid in full prior to your event ending. A final headcount must also be provided at least 7 days prior to your event day. All catering menu selections must be finalized through our provided caterer, Bob Brant.

Outdoor Deck Space

We allow and encourage all room rentals to utilize our outdoor deck space connected to our banquet room. This comes at no additional cost. As a public venue, the outdoor deck space is a shared area of the facility and open for the public to enjoy as well.

Bar Packages

"Cash" Bar

Guests will be responsible for the purchase of their own drinks at the bar.

Open Bar

The event host will be responsible to cover the tab of all guests' bar drinks.


Open Bar (Limited)

Host covers the tab up to a set amount and chooses what they wish to include and/or exclude.
(Ex. Set tab limit to $1000, only offering beer and wine—no liquor.) Staff will notify host if approaching tab limit, if you wish to extend the tab at the time, you may.

Drink Tickets

The party host will be provided tickets to disperse amongst all guests, each ticket will be redeemable for 1 drink of their choice. The amount of tickets you wish to provide each individual is up to you.

Bar Policies for Events:

Sunset Golf Course and Sunset Bar & Grill are bound by all local and state regulations governing the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. In accordance with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board policies, alcoholic beverages cannot be brought in from outside sources. The sale, service or consumption of alcohol by anyone under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited. In order to ensure this, all alcoholic beverages must be dispersed at the bar by a staff member. The client acknowledges that the service of alcohol is subject to the company’s rules and regulations and that the company may, at any time by its sole discretion, suspend or terminate the service of alcohol to any event or individual. If alcohol is suspended or terminated for any reason, the company will not be liable for any damages of any kind whatsoever. We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions if the specified product ordered at the time of your event becomes unavailable. Prices are subject to 6% PA sales tax and a 20% service charge on the total bill.

Frequently Asked Questions

1How many people does the inside facility hold?
Our facility has the capacity and seating to hold up to 120 people. If you wish to make room for a dance floor and/or DJ, then we suggest a party size of 100 or fewer.
2Is this a smoke free facility?
Smoking inside the facility is strictly prohibited. If you wish to smoke, there are several designated smoking areas located all around our building.
3Can we take pictures inside?
Yes, we encourage you to! Sunset Golf Course comes with the most scenic views of the Susquehanna River, Harrisburg Airport, TMI, and its surrounding four counties—Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York.
4Can we bring our own food and beverage?
We suggest all parties handle food through our contracted caterer Bob Brant. If you wish to bring your own food or provide your own caterer, there will be an additional $350.00 fee added to your final invoice. There is no additional fee added if you wish to bring your own desserts/cakes. Non-alcoholic beverages may be allowed with clearance from your event coordinator.
5Can we bring our own alcohol?
Per PLCB law, all outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. This is a zero-tolerance policy of ours. All alcohol may be purchased through our bar. There are several different options and flexibility through our bar packages on how you wish to provide alcohol for your party.
6Do we have to set up or clean anything for our event?
Sunset Golf Course handles the set-up of tables and linens seeing you have provided us with proper head count. Decoration responsibilities rely solely on the client/party. Decoration may be available within business hours the day before your event depending on room availability. If the room is occupied the day before, decorating may be done the morning of your event. There is no additional cost for time spent decorating. Your party is responsible for clean-up which must be completed within your rental time-frame window. This includes making sure all trash is thrown away and all decorations or anything brought with you to be taken with you the same night. A clean-up fee of $250.00 will be charged if these policies are not followed. Separate fees will be billed in the event of damage. Confetti, glitter, and tape on the walls are NOT allowed.
7Does Sunset Golf Course provide a sound system?
Yes, we provide a stand-alone PA system with a microphone available for use at any time during your event. You may also utilize our overhead sound system if you are willing to provide an Apple device with a pre-made playlist.
8Can we take food after our event?
Any food provided by Sunset Golf Course's caterer is prohibited from being taken with you after the food service is complete to avoid any food-borne illnesses. If you pay to bring food or are providing your own caterer, that is up to you or your caterer's discretion.
9How do we ensure that golfers or members of the public aren't drinking on our party's tab?
Seeing as we are a public venue, we understand the concern of our clients regarding the ability of our staff to differentiate those participating in your event and those who are not. To dismiss any confusion we offer wristbands or drink tickets (depending on which bar package you choose) upon request if you feel it is necessary.
10Do we have to vacate the premises before a certain time?
Yes, we require that all event guests have left the premises by the end of the scheduled event window. Event times may not extend past 10 pm or interfere with other scheduled events. If you would like to add time to your event you will be charged an additional $150.00 per hour.
